Smith Cares Senior Resources simplifies the process of finding reliable home care and affordable housing with personalized guidance. Our senior living advisors possess deep knowledge and expertise, and they’re local, ensuring they’re well-versed in the community options available in your area. Our interests align with providing the best possible outcome for your family and helping you make an informed decision. Since this service is free to you, all our recommendations are unbiased, as we prioritize your best interests.

Senior Resources
- Seek out consumer needs and match them with a Home Healthcare Company that meets their requirements
- Find senior housing and senior centers in community for participants
- Assist with housing needs. Prevent evictions and assist with government funded programs
- Free training for family caregivers, which include Dementia, Alzheimer’s, CPR, etc.
- Assist in locating benefits for seniors
- Take on clients who have hoarding issues. We work with professional organizers and junk removal.
- Develop close relationships with clients, which include following up monthly to make sure all their needs are being met
- Any other services requested from client, we will try to accommodate

Advocacy on Behalf of the Consumer
As a consumer, you have rights and that's where our company comes into play. Our staff is able to represent and fight for your needs and wants during your healthcare experience at no cost to you. We assist with formal and informal sources of support on behalf of the consumer. Below are waivers that we can assist you with:
Home and Community Based Programs:
- Community Health Choices (CHC)
- Manage care organization
- Keystone, UPMC and Pa health wellness
These are programs that provide long-term care and support to individuals living in their own home, who are at risk of being institutionalized.
