To qualify for Medicaid home care services in Pennsylvania, individuals must meet certain eligibility requirements, including income and asset limits, medical necessity, and residency
1. Apply for Medical Assistance through the state's health and human services programs.
2. Call the PA Independent Enrollment Broker (PA IEB).
3. Schedule an in-home visit with PA IEB.
4. Schedule an in-home visit with the Area Agency on Aging (AAA).
5. PA IEB reviews the physician's certification form and functional eligibility determination.
6. The CAO reviews your application.
