We connect you with trusted, vetted providers in our network. We only recommend agencies and facilities we know and trust.
Step 4 — Guided Transition

What does private pay home care cost? Rates are customized based on your loved one's needs, schedule, and level of care. We start with a free 15 minute discovery call to understand your situation and give you a clear honest picture of what to expect from there.
Is the discovery call really free? Yes. Our free 15 minute discovery call is completely complimentary. There is no obligation and no pressure. It is simply a conversation so we can understand your situation and confirm we are the right fit for your family.
How quickly can care start? In most cases we can have care in place within 24 to 48 hours of your assessment. We move fast because we know your family cannot always wait.
Do you only help with home care? No. We help with home care, assisted living, memory care, adult day programs, and any senior care decision your family is facing. We look at the full picture and find the right fit for your specific situation.
Are you independent? Yes. Smith Cares Senior Resources is not owned by or paid by any home care agency or facility. Our only job is to find the best fit for your family. We have no incentive to recommend one provider over another except that they are the right match for your loved one.
What if my loved one is already on Medicaid? We serve Medicaid families too through our Home Care Solutions program. If private pay is not the right fit we will connect you with the right resources at no cost to you.

We do the work for you. Smith Cares has a network of reliable home care agencies that offer some of the most competitive pay and benefits packages in Southeast Pennsylvania including sign-on bonuses up to $1,000, weekly pay, health, dental and vision benefits, PTO, holiday pay, performance bonuses, and more. We match you with the agency that fits your situation best, advocate on your behalf throughout the process, and make sure you are set up for success from day one. What if my current agency is unable to staff my case?
This is one of the most common reasons families come to us. If your current agency cannot find a caregiver for your case we will match you with an agency in our network that specializes in hard to staff cases and can get someone placed quickly.
How do you select the home care agencies in your network?
Every agency in our network goes through a thorough vetting process before we ever recommend them to a family. We look at their licensing and compliance standing, caregiver pay and benefits packages, staffing reliability, responsiveness when issues come up, and feedback from families we have already placed with them. We also evaluate whether they can handle hard to staff cases because not every agency can. If an agency does not meet our standards they do not make it into our network. We only recommend agencies we would feel comfortable sending our own family to.
